Millicent and Adrienne Test Scene

To the untrained eye the two attractive, young blonde women sitting outside the cafe were simply enjoying their drinks and chatting merrily away. In reality, it was a practiced facade of hiding in plain sight. In truth, the two were conducting a professional stakeout of the building across the street. This had been their third visit to this particular cafe, but they purposely made themselves just another part of the crowd.

"The guards are consistent in their apathy," Millicent commented quietly.

"They are," Adrienne said. For the moment, she had dropped the more exaggerated accent.

"And they never look up."

"Shouldn't be a hindrance if confronted with force, I would bet you a pound that at least one says "I don't get paid enough for this," Millicent joked lightly, though the humor didn't appear on her face.

Adrienne laughed just a little at that. "I would prefer that. I dislike having to hurt anyone just earning a paycheck."

"I'm certain they have basic medical insurance," Millicent said in reply. "But we will keep the kid gloves on unless they actually surprise us and become competent."

"Unlikely," she said.

She turned her attention back to the building. "The office we want is on the top floor. Wall safe. Combination lock."

"We'll need some kind of internal surveillance to help determine the amount of electronic surveillance we'll be up against."

[ze_leaper]

She nodded. "Trickier," she said. "But not impossible. If we can plug into the mainframe, we can blind it for a few moments."

"What do you think? Naive young foreign girls just can't find their way and think everything's interesting?" Millicent asked, carefully undoing the top button of her shirt to expose a bit of cleavage. "American men do like to impress pretty European women after all."

"Oh, oui," Adrienne said, this time exaggerating her accent. "Zey cannot help but fawn all over zem."

Normally Millicent would roll her eyes at Adrienne's exaggerated language, but in this case she didn't see the harm. She doubted the guards had ever meant an actual French girl.

"Well then dear, Adri, shall we let the nice American chaps show us around?"

Adrienne was an actual French girl. She just played up the accent for theatricality, like her father before her.

"Oh, oui," she said again. "Let us go see ze Americans and zeir toys."
